Bodybuilding is that sport in the Asian Games wherein you get to witness some of the most muscular men of the competition.
The sport of Bodybuilding is closely related to fitness, balanced diet and workouts. At the 15th Asian Games, Bodybuilders from all over Asia will showcase their abs and muscles in front of a panel of judges. This panel will then decide on the 'best body' at the Games.
At the Doha Asian Games, participants of the Bodybuilding competition will have to perform seven poses - back double biceps, back lat-spread, side triceps, front lat-spread, front double biceps, abs and thighs. These bodybuilders will be judged on the basis of body proportion, muscularity, symmetry and definition.
As a sport, Bodybuilding seems to be the easiest to compete for. However, the run-up to a Bodybuilding competition requires unending hours of sweating-out at a fitness center, regular exercises and a controlled diet.
According to the history of Asian Games, Bodybuilding was introduced as a competitive sport in the 14th edition at Busan. This is just the second time this sport is being competed for in the Games.
