The Gold coast is situated on the Coomera River on the periphery of North Queensland cyclone belt. Gold Coast offers a continuous stretch of 40 kms of crystal clear surf beaches. Starting from Southport at the top end, it stretches through Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Mermaid Waters, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Currumbin, Tugun, Bilinga, Kirra and finally Coolangatta at the New South Wales border.
