FIFA has outlined detailed guidelines for sale of 2006 World Cup tickets. Tickets for the World Cup 2006 matches are available only from two sources assigned by the World Cup Organizing Committee – firstly from 2006 FIFA World Cup Ticketing Center (FWCTC) in Frankfurt, Germany, and secondly from Member Associations whose teams have qualified to participate in the 2006 World Cup finals. FWCTC is the principal seller of World Cup tickets to the general public across the globe. Altogether there will be 3.2 million tickets available for the 64 matches of the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany.
One can apply for 2006 World Cup tickets on the Internet application form on the FWCTC website, or by sending postal or fax application to FWCTC. While applying for World Cup tickets, make it sure that you mention your valid e-mail address, as the user name and password will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by you. | Once your application is processed, you can review the status of your application at any time by logging in with a user name and password to the FWCTC website. If you are unsuccessful in acquiring tickets from the FWCTC, you can purchase tickets from Member Associations whose teams have qualified to participate in final competition of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. FIFA has allocated a certain quantity of World Cup tickets to Member Associations, according to capacities of the stadiums. Contact details for the 32 Participating Member Association can be found at on the official website of FIFA. Tickets for World Cup 2006 will be sold in phases, planned by the World Cup Organizing Committee, with first phase of ticket sales starting on February 01, 2005. Applications will not be processed chronologically, but rather via a lottery after 15 days of the end of each ticket sales phase.

Ticket Prices and Categories
Four categories of tickets will be available for the 2006 World Cup. The ticket prices ranges between €35 to €600, depending on nature of matches and seating positions. |
