The Kristiansand Airport is located in southern Norway, close to the city of Kristiansand. It lies at a distance of 16 kilometers from the city. The airport was constructed in 1939, and the first flight to land here was a DC-2 belonging to the KLM airlines. The airport also has a training center run by the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
