The Olympic Airlines is the national airline of Greece. The airline has its headquarters in Athens. Started in 1930, the airline was originally named Icarus after the mythical Greek hero who flied too close to the sun. The airline went bankrupt and was merged into TAE Airlines. In the 1960s, Olympic Airlines expanded rapidly. |
