The Australian Cricket Team is the Champion of One Day Cricket
as well as current ICC Test Champions. The Australian Cricket
Team is regarded as the most challenging and dominant cricket
team throughout the cricketing world. Today, Australian Cricket
Team plays some of the outstanding players the game of cricket
ever produced, including Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne, Glenn
McGrath and Brett Lee.
The cricket enthusiasts world over eagerly await matches
of Australia, and ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 (11 March-28
April) in West Indies promises to bring lots of cheers and
excitement for Australian cricket fans. Australia is placed
in Group A of the ICC World Cup 2007 groupings, along with
South Africa, Scotland and Netherlands. Australia will play
its first warm-up match against Zimbabwe on March 06, 2007
at Arnos Vale Stadium in St. Vincent, and will start its Group
Stage matches against Scotland on March 14 at Warner Park
Stadium in St. Kitts & Nevis. Australia will play a total
of 3 matches in Group Stage, and if it qualifies for Second
Stage - Super 8, the team will contest in 6 matches to enter
semi finals and then finals on April 28 at Kensington Oval,
Barbados.
