The Bermuda cricket team has qualified for the first time to play in the ICC World Cup tournament, after a long wait of 40 years when it became an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1966. Bermuda is placed in Group B of the ICC World Cup 2007 groupings, along with India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, and it will play its first world cup match against Sri Lanka on March 15, 2007 in Trinidad and Tobago.
Bermuda will play a total of 3 matches in Group Stage, and if it qualifies for Second Stage - Super 8, the team will participate in 6 matches to enter semi finals and then finals on April 28 at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
