The Zimbabwe Cricket Team played its first ICC World Cup match in 1983, and since then participated in all ICC World Cups, without any remarakbabe success. Zimbabwe is placed in Group D of the ICC World Cup 2007 groupings, along with Pakistan, West Indies and Ireland.
Zimbabwe will also play two warm-up matches before the commencement of the ICC Cricket World Cup tournament on March 13, 2007 at Jamaica. the team will play its first warm-up match against the world champions Australia on March 06, 2007 in Arnos Vale Stadium in St Vincent. Zimbabwe will start its 2007 world cup campaign against Ireland on March 15, 2007 in Trelwany Stadium in Jamaica.
