Every cricketing team plays at least four regular bowlers in each game. It is simply outstanding for one particular bowler to grab five wickets out of ten in one inning. Five-wicket hauls in Cricket World Cup 2007 is the best proof of the credibility and dependability of a bowler.
The world's most legendary bowlers have often not been able to achieve the feat of five-wicket hauls in Cricket World Cups. At times, this record has been made by the most unexpected bowlers. Claiming five wickets in an inning requires consistency and the ability to make the opposition fear oneself.
In the ninth version of the World Cup, three bowlers who achieved this feat were from the same country -- South Africa. AJ Hall claimed five wickets of England and gave away only 18 runs. CK Langeveldt claimed five Sri Lankan wickets and gave away 39 runs. A Nel sent back to pavilion five Bangladeshi batsmen and gave away 45 runs.
