The 9th ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 in West Indies is scheduled to kick-ff on March 13, 2007 in Sabina Park Stadium in Jamaica. The largest ever edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup, the tournament will see participation of 16 teams divided into four groups- Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D. Each Group has 4 teams each, comprising of at least two high-ranking teams. All matches of a particular group will be played at one venue, and Group A matches will be played at Warner Park Stadium in St Kitts and Nevis.
Group A of the ICC CWC 2007 consists of Australia, South Africa, Scotland and The Netherlands cricket teams. The first match of Group A will be played between Australia and Scotland on March 14, 2007. The match between Australia and South Africa is the most important match of Group A, scheduled for March 24, 2007.
