Out of 16 participating teams in ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, the best four will move on to the semi-final stage. Reaching the semis of a World Cup tournament is a matter of pride for any team, as it proves that they are amongst the best four in the world. Semi-finals match results of 2007 World Cup will eventually decide the winner of the finals.
After the initial group stage matches, right teams will reach the Super Eights of Cricket World Cup 2007. They will all play against one another to finally determine the teams that make it the semi-finals. They will be ranked on the basis of points scored from their Super Eight match results.
The two semi-finals of World Cup 2007 will be played on the 24th and 25th of April. The first will be held at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica the first and fourth semi-finalist will contest in this game. The second semi-final match of Cricket World Cup 2007 will be held at Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet, St. Lucia itll be contested between the second and third ranked teams of Super Eights.
