Guyana is one of the nine host venues for the ICC Cricket World Cup
2007 in the West Indies. Guyana will host the Second-Round
Super 8 Matches of the ICC World Cup 2007. Cricket is not

Guyana is building a brand new stadium in Providence for

World Cup 2007. It would be an important venue of the ICC
World Cup, and will host 6 of the 24 Second-Round Super 8
Matches. The size of the stadium and playing conditions meet
the standards for both One-day internationals and Test matches.
