Siena is a beautiful and charming medieval city, located in the heart of enchanting Tuscany region of Italy. For international travelers, the best way to reach Siena is to take a flight to Rome or Pisa, and then take a car or bus to the city. If you're traveling by train, you'll need to get off at nearby stations of Chiusi or Empoli, as Siena has no direct rail links with major cities of Italy.

Getting to Siena by Train: Siena has no direct rail links with major cities of Italy. If you're planning to travel by train to Siena, then you'll need to get off at nearby stations of Chiusi (from Rome). From Chiusi you can either take a local train to Siena or a board a bus to reach your destination. There are also several local trains, connecting Siena to Florence, which is well connected by rail to Milan, Rome, Naples, Venice, Pisa in Italy, and Paris, Basel, Munich and Brussels in Europe.

Getting to Siena by Road: Siena is well connected by road to Florence (65 km), Pisa (110 km), Arezzo (65 km), Milan and Rome. There are excellent bus services from Siena to all these destinations. Euroline buses connect Siena with London, Paris, Munich and Frankfurt.
