Donana National Park also called The Parque Nacional de Donanain is located in Andalusia. The area being full of water holes is an ideal site for the migratory birds. Donana has become popular for its fantastic avifauna. A unique feature of the Donana National Park is that there are three distinct kinds of ecosystem the marismas, the Mediterranean scrublands and the coastal mobile dunes with their beaches in the Donana National Park.

Avian Species in the Park: Spanish imperial eagles, geese, colonies of flamingo, ducks, grey herons, waders, terns, lanner falcons, ring, kites, spoonbills, turtle, wood sandpiper, doves, partridges, griffon vulture, booted eagle, red and black kites, short toed eagle, Baillon's crake, purple gallinule, great spotted cuckoo, scops owl, red necked nightjar, bee eater, hoopoe, calandra, thekla larks, golden oriole, azure winged magpie, Cetti's and Savi's warblers, tawny pipit, great grey shrike, woodchat shrike, serin, storks, curlew sandpiper, black-tailed godwit and ruff vultures.
Faunal Species in the Park: The Park has seventeen reptiles and twenty-eight species of mammals including lynx, the Egyptian mongoose, red deer, fallow deer and wild boar.
Floral Species in the Park: For those interested in plants species, the Park has large expanses of stone pines, narrow leaved cistus heather, rosemary, red lavender, junipers, mastic tree, cork oaks, cistus scrub, glasswort, tree heaths, gladioli, irises, rock roses and thyme.
Rivers: Brazo de la Torre, the Cano de Guadiamar and Cano Real are the rivers dampening the lands of the forest cover.
