To reach Seville air transportation is fairly cheap. On board a cheap charter to Malaga, and then take a bus to Seville. The city is not car friendly. So please do not drive a car if you want to visit Seville only. The best time to visit Seville is March to May. Two of the major festivals of Seville namely Semana Santa and Feria de Abril fall in these months. There are many tourist attractions in Seville that attract visitors from allover the globe.
Getting to Seville
By Air: The main airport in Seville is located sat a distance of 4 kilometers or 2.5 miles northeast off the center of Seville city. You can book for cheap flights to Seville from any location. As the city has its own airport, traveling from many European cities such as London, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Amsterdam and Rome becomes quite easy. Various facilities provided at the Airport are gift shop for the last minute souvenirs, a newsstand for acquiring all kinds of reading material, especially travel guides with good map of Seville and the city, a cafeteria and ticket machine.
By Rail:To get Seville by train, on board a train from Seville to El Puerto and Cadiz. A high-speed train AVE (alta velocidad Espanola) connects Cordoba and Madrid and Malaga to Seville. You can reach Madrid within 2:30 hours. From Santa Justa station, after every hour a train departs. Advance bookings are recommended. Rail connections to other cities are usually very slow.
By Road: El Prado and Plaza de Armas a re two bus stations in Seville. Tussam Bus Company operates public transport in Seville. The company provides efficient bus service. From Britain you can take Eurolines to reach Madrid and from there you can take interurban bus to reach Seville (in 6 hours). Seville is connected to all major places in Spain by interurban buses.
