Museums in Salamanca
Museo de Historia de la Ciudad displays archaeological remains and sepultures. It is closed on Mondays and public holidays. No entry fee is charged.
Sala de Exposiciones de Santo Domingo is located in the Former School of Santo Domingo de la Cruz (16th century).
Museo de Art Nouveau y Art Deco is a museum dedicated to decorative arts. There are 19 decorative art collections in the museum.
Domus Artium 2002 is a museum based on the theme of modern art. Initially the building was an old prison, but architect Horacio Fernandez del Castillo Sainz refurnished it. There are nine exhibition and three video projection rooms in the museum.

Iglesia y Convento de San Esteban (San Esteban Church and Monastery) was built around the 16th and the 17th centuries in Plasteresque and Baroque. This Gothic building has three cloisters.
