Despite being tucked away in the most remote corner of the world, Chile is well connected to the rest of it, and like any other place in the world, there are numerous ways to get there. You can sail in up the straits of Magellan or across the Pacific, you can drive over the Andes or hitch down the Pan American highway or you can fly in from any continent. Yes, there are a lot of options and Chile is very well connected despite its remoteness.
There are scheduled flights to and from the main cities of Chile, not only from neighboring countries, but also from North America, Europe and Asia. There is also a rudimentary train service between Chile and Bolivia, but a small part of the journey has to be completed by road across the Andes.
