In the beginning of time, God created the wonders of the world. When he was finished, however, he saw that he had many leftover pieces. He had parts of rivers and valleys, of oceans and lakes, of glaciers and deserts, of mountains and forests, and of meadows and hills. Rather than to let such beauty go to waste, God put them all together and cast them to the most remote corner of the earth. This is how Chile was born.

By going for a holiday to Chile, one can experience a variety of different geological conditions and cultures: there is the dry north, with its Saharan feel, the Mediterranean center, which seems more like a part of Spain than south America, and then there is the temperate south which could very well be a part of Alaska, Canada or Scandinavia. And then there is Easter Island.
If anthropology is more your scene than geography, then Chile has something for you too. Its indigenous tribes. In then north, there are the Incas, in the Center the Mupocho, and the southern part of Chile plays host to a number of other tribes. History buffs can also delve into the past, be it about the conquistadors or the eras before them!
