Parque National Lauca
Lauca has been declared a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. The park consists of pre-mountain range and plateau with prairies and volcanoes. You can see more than 60 different species of birds, many Llamas, Alpacas and Vicunas and also wild and domesticated camels. The Chungara Lake, one of the world's highest lakes is a major attraction of this region. There is also a collection of unique flora and fauna in a setting of lakes, volcanoes and salty lakes.
The Hill (El Morro) of Arica

This 130 m high enormous rock is a tribute to the Chilean military victories in the 19th Century Pacific War. The city and the beaches can be seen from the hill. The Museum of History and Arms is situated on the top of the hill. A visit to this hill during your Arica Chile Tour is a must.
Azapa Valley
Azapa Valley is a fertile and narrow oasis, framed between two hills. A great variety of fruits and vegetables are grown here throughout the year due to its unique climate. The unique olives of Azapa are famous for their violet color and bitter flavor.

Cathedral de San Marcos
This cathedral was assembled in the 1870's to replace the main church which was destroyed in the 1868 earthquake.Cathedral de San Marcos was the city's first building constructed of steel and cast iron. Only its door is made from wood.
