Peranginan Sik, Kedah was built in the year 1964 and was the first of its kind to be built in the state of Kedah. A nature cum recreational park, it houses numerous cascading waterfalls and different varieties of trees that make it a popular tourist destination. Visitors come to this park all through the year to enjoy its natural beauty and to relax in the shades of its huge trees. A visit to the park is the best way to get close to Mother Nature and experience its beauty and wonders.
The park can accommodate upto 1000 people at one time. It serves as a popular picnic and camping spot. Tourists interested to go for an adventure holiday, often come to this hilly region. The biggest attraction of this park is the Lata Mengkuang waterfall. The crystal clear water of the waterfall and the pool it forms below is a great place to have a bath or go for a swim. Children often frolic in the cool waters of this waterfall and its pool.
