The museum evokes the atmosphere of the village with, scarecrows, chickens, ducks and buffaloes roaming freely in the premises of the museum.
The Rice Museum also boasts of a roof-top garden with odorous padi plots and a padi farm where the visitors can participate in rice planting activities. There is also a restaurant which offers foods and dishes that incorporate rice as the chief ingredient. Other attractions in the museum include an herbal garden, souvenirs and handicrafts shop. The museum also hosts Rice-based food demonstrations, festivals and theme exhibitions.
The museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 10.00 am to 6.oo pm.
