Endau Rompin State Park, Pahang is one of the popular tourist destinations in the state. It is one of the world's oldest tropical rainforests; it has not changed over the years and its original state has been retained. Spread over an area of 80,000 hectares of jungle across the state of Pahang and Johor, Endau Rompin State Park is one of the last remaining lowland forests in Malaysia. The park is home to some of the rarest plant and animal species.
There is no dearth of sight seeing options in the park like Padang Tujuh, Sungai Kinchin and Sungai Kemapan, Mahkota Waterfalls, Buaya Sangkut Falls and Kelapa Gading Cave.
Padang Tujuh is an area within the state park that boasts of boansai trees, whereas Sungai Kinchin and Sungai Kemapan are the finest fishing spots in the region. There are several waterfalls in the region like Mahkota Waterfalls and Buaya Sangkut Falls that are known for their natural beauty and the park also nestles a cave, Kelapa Gading Cave, situated in the middle of a waterfall.
Apart form the sight seeing options, you can also participate in a number of activities like Bird watching, camping, indoor games, fishing, cave exploration, mountain climbing, swimming and jungle trekking.
