Wat Rajanadda, Bangkok

Bangkok is known as the city of angels. It is a home for seven million people and a melting pot of east-west culture. It is surely one of Asia's exciting, interesting and spectacular urban and historic destinations.

Explore the Wat Rajanadda and its unique Buddhist market showcasing fascinating magic charms, amulets and love potions.

Wat Rajanadda is located at the core of the Bangkok city, close to the Democracy Monument and Golden Mount at Rachadamnoen Avenue. This beautiful temple adorns the Buddha Relic is placed. Its roof is made up of solid metal, a copper alloy and thus making it a unique piece in the whole world. The roof of the building is decorated in Burmese style.

All the tourists visiting this place have to take off their shoes and climb to the shrine where the image of the Buddha relic is placed inside a dark colored vase. You can also view the city of Bangkok with the temple grounds in the foreground.

Behind this building you find the additional Temple buildings of Wat Rajanadda and a Buddha Image and Amulet market.
